Triol TM-01-03 telemetry system
     The measuring system for monitoring parameters of an oil well and an electric submersible motor by using a downhole sensor.

 

General description


      Purpose:
      The Triol TM-01 is used for monitoring actual parameters, as listed below:

  • Motor oil temperature near the stator winding of an electric submersible motor (ESM);
  • Base oil temperature;
  • Pressure of motor oil in ESM;
  • Vibration of ESM along the X, Y or Z axes; and
  • Insulation resistance of the circuit “AC-voltage oil transformer – submersible electric cable – ESM”.

      Actual parameters are transmitted to the controller of a variable speed drive. The last one is used for controlling and protecting electric submersible pumps with electric submersible motors, made in compliance with GOST 18058 or other types of motors.

       The Triol TM-01-03 telemetry system consists of:

TMN-01-03 ground unit is a ground measuring and computational center. This unit runs as follows:
  • measures insulation resistance;
  • establishes connection with the submersible unit;
  • receives and processes data from the submersible unit; and
  • transmits them to a controller of a variable speed drive or an automatic control system.

 

TMP-01-03 submersible unit is a downhole sensor. This sensor is fixed to an ESM, measures parameters and transmits data to the ground unit.


       The Triol TM-01-03 telemetry system is used by:

  • Rosneft oil company (Purneftegaz, Juganskneftegaz);
  • TNK-BP oil company (Samotlorneftegaz);
  • RITEK oil company (Volgogradneftegaz business enterprise); and
  • OAO NGK Slavneft (Megionneftegaz).
