The Triol Corporation is committed to conducting its business in a manner that protects the environment and promotes the health and safety of its employees and customers. Triol’s main Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) objective is to provide a safe and healthy environment within the factory area.

To keep employees healthy and cheerful, Triol fulfills the following HSE measures and procedures:

  • According to Triol’s labor contract, there are particular work schedules for office and production staff. Production workers have a 15-minute break every hour and 30 minutes for lunch. Office workers have a 1-hour break period in the afternoon. The working day for both employee groups is eight hours. The working week consists of five week days with Saturday and Sunday are days off;
  • The company has organized and offers qualitative preliminary, periodic and compulsory medical examinations for personnel during their employment term. For employees under the age of 21, compulsory annual medical examinations are also organized.  An extraordinary examination is fulfilled at the employee’s request if he attributes his poor health to his working conditions;
  • According to the established standards, workers employed in jobs under hazardous working conditions are provided milk or other foods of equal value in due time and free of charge;
  • Owing to social insurance funds, all company personnel receive vouchers for health resorts and rest homes;
  • The company provides various trainings to advance employees’ development. Training in more effective communication is regularly held at the company, allowing newcomers to get a feel for the atmosphere in the company team and enabling them to communicate with greater success. Training in health and life management among team managers has encouraged employees to work more efficiently and to pursue a full healthy lifestyle;
  • Motion is life! Being in good form encourages a good mood, bright emotions, and excellent physical state. That is why there is a sports ground on the company’s territory. Here, company employees can keep themselves in good shape and good spirits. The sports ground has several tables for ping-pong and horizontal bars. In addition, the company gym is constantly being improved;
  • The company provides support to employees who are trying to quit smoking. Every production worker receives a monthly additional payment for not smoking.

       The Triol Corporation is committed to actively managing the health and safety risks associated with our business. We ensure that our products are shipped in a safe manner, satisfying safety standards and legal requirements. For our customers, we are capable of ensuring the optimal use of our products with minimal impact on our customers, staff and the environment.

       The company’s HSE measures and procedures regarding safe working processes are as follows:

  • Creating all necessary healthy and safe working conditions;
  • The timely implementation of complex safety, health and production sanitary measures;
  • Constantly working to improve the existing level of labor protection;
  • Preventive measures with respect to professional injuries, illnesses and accidents;
  • Workers employed under hazardous and dangerous working conditions or adverse temperature conditions are provided special clothing, footwear and other personal protection equipment;
  • Minimizing harmful production. When possible, the automation of dangerous work areas is performed;
  • Applying innovative technologies to minimize harmful effects on workers’ health (e.g. condenser energy-storage welding);
  • All harmful production areas (e.g. the painting workshop) are located far from other manufacturing areas and are in separate buildings;
  • Before starting to work, every production worker is properly trained and then receives his certification card corresponding to the kind of work he will do in future;
  • Instruction (introductory, primary or unscheduled) is given and repeat instruction is offered once a quarter at the workplace;
  • Checking on the state of equipment once in every ten days;
  • Reporting on the implementation of labor protection duties every quarter to the head of labor protection.

   The Triol AK02 and Triol AK06 variable speed drives for submersible electric pumps, as well as the B2C output sine filter units, are permitted for use according to authorization no. RRS 00-29315, issued by the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision, dated May 13, 2008.

   Welding, gas-flame, soldering and many other kinds of dangerous and harmful works are permitted according to the authorization for works in manufacturing high-risk electrical equipment no. 104.11.63, issued on October 31, 2001 by the State Committee of Ukraine on Industrial Safety, Labor Protection and Mining Supervision.

Triol’s HSE measures and procedures regarding the environment are as follows: 

  • Adherence to all the highest standards for the disposal of waste materials. All unused materials, including paper, are fully utilized or sold.
  • Every production area has local exhaust ventilation, cleansing the air of harmful substances.
  • Energy, water and other resources – both natural and man-made – are utilized efficiently to minimize waste.
  • All employees are involved in implementing environment policies, measures and procedures. Every Saturday is a day the company dedicates to community work and cleaning.

   This should all ensure that the Triol Corporation functions in a safe and respected environment for its employees and potential customers.
