Triol AT 08 variable frequency drive (voltage 660 V)
       The all-purpose variable frequency drive intended for driving mining machines or other electric motors with supplied voltage 660 V.

General Description


       Purpose:
       The Triol AT08 variable frequency drive is intended for controlling machines and mechanisms based on three-phase asynchronous electric motors with the following parameters:

  • Supply voltage – 660V;
  • Power range – from 110 to 630 kW.

       Features implemented in the Triol AT08:

  • Optimized algorithms of high-frequency PWM-control;
  • Laws of frequency regulation of the asynchronous electric motor; and
  • Scalar control.

        The Triol AT08 variable frequency drives are able to operate in both manual and automatic modes.

       The Triol AT08 variable frequency drive is an efficient solution with respect to technological tasks for the automatic controlling efficiency of machines and mechanisms. This drive saves energy, resources and prolongs the operable lifetime of your equipment.

       The Triol AT08 frequency converter is commonly used with:

  • Compressors;
  • Electrical mine hoists;
  • Conveyors and transporters;
  • Mine pumps and fans;
  • Open-mine excavators; and
  • Rock-drilling machines.

Functionality


       Modes of operation

       The Triol AT08 variable frequency drives are able to operate in both the manual and automatic modes.

Manual mode the drive processes the output frequency value, which has been set via the control console or automated control system. The rotation frequency of electric motor is thereby controlled.

 

Automatic mode The frequency is regulated in a closed loop system. The control is implemented in two ways:
  • By using an embedded PID control. This approach is based on signals from feedback sensors (speed sensor, sensor of process-dependent parameter, etc.);
  • By using a mathematical model of the controlled process (without sensors).


       Variants of parameter settings and controlling drive’s operation in manual mode are described below:

The control console of the Triol AT08 is equipped with a graphic LCD, light indication and comfortable keyboard.
